CVE-2023-6363

Freed-memory access via improper GPU memory processing

Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Use-after-free in Arm Valhall and 5th Gen GPU Kernel Drivers r41p0 through r47p0 allows local users to access freed memory. The drivers improperly process GPU memory operations after system memory is carefully prepared, exposing allocations that have already been freed. Arm has not published the affected function or operation sequence; access requires a local non-privileged account and can alter or interrupt driver-managed state.
