Slider deletion via missing bulk-action nonce validation
Published Mar 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in Averta Master Slider – Responsive Touch Slider 3.9.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete or duplicate sliders. The process_bulk_action function accepts bulk-action requests without correctly validating a nonce, so a browser carrying an administrator session can submit unintended slider operations. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the forged request; slider content can then be duplicated or deleted.
