CVE-2023-6309Public exploit

Authenticated command execution via input1 shell pipeline

Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

OS command injection in Moses Decoder 4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through crafted input1 POST data. The script splits input1 on newlines, applies escapeshellarg to each value, then interpolates it into a backtick-executed echo-to-netcat shell pipeline. The published assessment requires low privileges and adjacent-network reachability; the public input1=;ls report contains no execution output.
