Authenticated command execution via multipart filename OGNL
Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command execution in Four-Faith Video Surveillance Management System 2016 and 2017 allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary commands. The Apache Struts Jakarta Multipart parser passes an attacker-controlled multipart filename into exception handling that evaluates it as an OGNL expression. A valid low-privilege session and access to a file-upload action are required; successful exploitation runs commands in the web application's server context.
