CVE-2023-6307Network attack vector

Directory escape via unvalidated image path

Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Oct 11, 2024

Relative path traversal in JimuReport 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to escape the image directory via imageUrl. The /download/image handler uses the imageUrl parameter to construct a file path without neutralizing parent-directory sequences, allowing resolution outside the intended image directory. Low-privileged application access is required; published records do not establish whether the endpoint reads, writes, or deletes the resolved file, so the concrete file impact remains unspecified.
