Authenticated code execution via template file overwrite
Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Code execution in CSZ CMS 1.3.0 File Manager allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP through a crafted template. The File Manager accepts an uploaded main.php and overwrites the generated template's existing main.php, which the front end then interprets as PHP. Administrator access is required to create and select the template; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the web server context.
