Memory exhaustion in Apryse iText 8.0.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt an embedding service through a crafted PDF. PdfDocument reference-table processing allocates excessive memory for a declared huge page count and empty data structures. The embedding application must process the file; exhaustion can terminate or stall that application, without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
