Published Nov 26, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in osCommerce 4 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted compare request. The /catalog/compare handler reflects the compare argument into its response without neutralizing HTML or script syntax. The attack requires no authentication, but a victim must open the crafted request before attacker-controlled script can alter page content.
