Authenticated SSRF and file read via import URL
Published Feb 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Server-side request forgery in Sygnoos Popup Builder before 4.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to read files or request internal URLs. The sgpb_import_subscribers AJAX handler accepts an unvalidated importListURL value and retrieves a supplied URL or filesystem traversal path, returning fetched content in its response. Exploitation requires a valid nonce and an administrator account on a subsidiary site in a WordPress Multisite installation.
