Administrator-context script execution via unescaped query parameters
Published Jan 29, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Reflected XSS in Biteship for WooCommerce before 2.2.25 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The WooCommerce settings page outputs the biteship_error and biteship_message query parameters without sanitization or HTML escaping. An administrator must open a crafted wp-admin settings URL; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled script with that user's WordPress session privileges.
