CVE-2023-6273Network attack vector

Unauthenticated feature disruption

Published Dec 6, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

Permission-management flaw in Huawei HarmonyOS 2.0.0 through 4.0.0 and EMUI 11.0.1 through 13.0.0 allows remote attackers to disrupt features. Huawei identifies the locus only as the module that disables Sound Booster and has not disclosed which permission check or operation mishandles access. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; exploitation produces a bounded availability impact in which device features operate abnormally.
