Reflected XSS via unsanitized tab parameter
Published Dec 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Get Use APIs – JSON Content Importer before 1.5.4 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted tab parameter. The administrative page reflects the tab query value without sanitization or output escaping, so attacker-controlled markup runs in the browser when a victim follows a crafted link. Exploitation requires user interaction, and a targeted administrator or other privileged user can have page data or actions exposed within the browser context.
