Buffer overflow in Canon printer firmware 03.07 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or crash the device. The Mobile Device Function's Address Book authentication process writes an overlong password beyond its intended buffer. Network access to the printer is sufficient; a successful request can corrupt memory, execute code, or leave the appliance unresponsive.
