CVE-2023-6140Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Subscriber-level remote code execution via transient PHP upload

Published Jan 8, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024

Arbitrary file upload in G5Theme Essential Real Estate before 4.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The gsf_upload_fonts AJAX action accepts a ZIP archive under an attacker-chosen PHP filename and temporarily places it in the web-accessible gsf-fonts upload directory. A subscriber account and a profile-page nonce are required; requesting the transient file runs its embedded PHP in the server context.
