Stored XSS via unsanitized imported fields
Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 30, 2024
Stored XSS in SuiteCRM 7.12.x before 7.12.14, 7.14.x before 7.14.2, and 8.4.x before 8.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to run script. ImportFile::getNextRow stores imported fields without applying the securexss filter, allowing crafted markup to reach rendered CRM content. An account permitted to import records must upload the data, and another user's browser must render the poisoned value, limiting the consequence to that user's web session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
