Improper privilege management in Trellix GetSusp before 5.0.0.27 allows local users to read higher-privileged files through handle takeover. The inadequately protected directory lets attackers take over file handles used by the privileged GetSusp process. Low-privileged local access is required, and the read-only handles limit the documented consequence to disclosure of otherwise protected files.
