Denial of service in M-Files Server before 23.11.13156.0 allows remote authenticated users to exhaust server memory through REST API requests. Obsolete REST API methods allocate server memory without effective limits when processing attacker-controlled requests, causing resource exhaustion. Access requires authentication and interaction with the REST interface; the bounded consequence is service interruption from memory exhaustion rather than data disclosure or modification.
