Unauthenticated backup disclosure via browsable temporary directory
Published Dec 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Sensitive data exposure in Duplicator before 1.5.7.1 and Duplicator Pro before 4.5.14.2 allows remote attackers to download site backups. The plugins leave backups-dup-lite/tmp or backups-dup-pro/tmp browsable while those directories hold a database dump and site archive. Exploitation requires web-server directory listing to be enabled and a backup to be in progress, exposing site files and database contents without authentication.
