CVE-2023-6095Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via HTTP header overflow

Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Hanwha Vision HRX-1620 firmware 3.05.62 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. Processing a malicious HTTP header overflows stack memory, allowing supplied data to alter the recorder's execution flow. No authentication is required, but exploitation requires the stack base address, which varies with firmware and configuration.
