Account compromise via cleartext web-console traffic
Published Dec 31, 2023 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Cleartext transmission in Moxa OnCell G3150A-LTE Series firmware 1.3 and earlier allows attackers to read sensitive web-console traffic. The web console sends credentials and other sensitive browser-server data over unencrypted HTTP instead of protecting the session with TLS. An attacker positioned to eavesdrop on the management path can capture account data and use it to access the associated user account.
