Missing authorization in WP Custom Widget area 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter WordPress menus via AJAX. The add_menu and delete_menu AJAX callbacks accept attacker-controlled menu identifiers and names without enforcing capability or nonce checks. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to create, rename, or delete site menu items, affecting page navigation and content integrity.
