Improper certificate validation in Bitdefender Total Security before 27.0.25.115 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept HTTPS traffic. Its HTTPS scanning component accepts DSA-signed site certificates without properly validating the certificate chain. An unauthenticated attacker able to interpose on the connection can impersonate arbitrary sites and read or alter protected traffic.
