System crash via detach-time timer race

Use-after-free in the Linux kernel LAN78XX USB Ethernet driver before 6.5-rc5 allows physically proximate attackers to crash the system. During lan78xx_disconnect, stat_monitor and delayed work can rearm each other after net_device is freed, causing its private data to be dereferenced. Exploitation requires detaching a LAN78XX USB device or unloading its driver, and the documented consequence is a system crash.
