Form deletion and duplication via missing CSRF checks
Published Dec 4, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
CSRF in Funnelforms Free before 3.4.2 allows remote attackers to delete or duplicate forms through a logged-in administrator. The af2_fnsf_delete_posts and af2_fnsf_copy_posts admin-ajax actions accept attacker-supplied post_ids without verifying a CSRF token. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active WordPress session to open attacker-controlled HTML, causing unauthorized deletion or duplication of selected forms.
