Admin PHP code execution via crafted update ZIP
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Unrestricted ZIP upload in EspoCRM 7.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to execute PHP code. The update form accepts a crafted ZIP package that results in server-side PHP execution; public records do not identify the missing validation or extraction check. Administrative access to the upgrade interface is required, and successful exploitation compromises the server with the web process's permissions.
