CVE-2023-5950Network attack vector

Browser script execution via reflected error content

Published Nov 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Reflected XSS in the Velociraptor server before 0.7.0-4 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted error path. The server places attacker-controlled error content into a generated web response without neutralizing script-capable input. The code runs when the response is rendered in a user's browser; public vendor material does not identify the request parameter or handler.
