Video deletion via missing request nonce
Published Nov 3, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
CSRF in Video Carousel Slider with Lightbox 1.0 allows remote attackers to delete gallery videos through an administrator's browser. The responsive_video_gallery_with_lightbox_video_management_func function accepts request action and record identifiers, unlinks associated image files, and deletes the matching database row without validating a nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted link or page; the result is removal of managed video entries and their local images.
