CVE-2023-5935

Local configuration takeover via unauthenticated web interface

Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Missing authentication in Nozomi Networks Arc before 1.6.0 allows local users to read sensitive data or change configuration. The configuration-time web server binds to 127.0.0.1 and processes local UI requests without authenticating the caller. Access is limited to the window when the interface is active; installing a malicious update package through it can execute arbitrary code.
