Settings alteration via nonce-free v1 import
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 16, 2025
CSRF in the Travelpayouts WordPress plugin before 1.1.13 allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings through an administrator. The travelpayouts_import_file AJAX action accepts attacker-supplied v1 import settings without verifying a CSRF nonce. A logged-in administrator must load attacker-controlled content that submits the forged request; the demonstrated result changes distance units and disables redirect behavior.
