Unrestricted file upload in rtCamp rtMedia before 4.6.16 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through its JSON API. The rtmedia_upload_media method accepts base64-encoded rtmedia_file content and an attacker-controlled image_type path without rejecting PHP files or traversal sequences. Exploitation requires a low-privilege WordPress account, BuddyPress, and the plugin JSON API to be enabled; successful uploads place executable PHP under the web root.
