Authenticated database access via student_id SQL injection
Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
SQL injection in CampCodes Simple Student Information System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via crafted student_id. The /admin/students/update_status.php handler uses the student_id argument in a database statement without neutralizing injected SQL syntax. Access to the administrative status-update endpoint is required, and successful exploitation exposes unintended backend database operations.
