Information disclosure in Mattermost Desktop 5.5.0 and earlier on macOS allows local users to read keyboard input through another process. The desktop client leaves macOS Secure Keyboard Entry disabled while accepting keystrokes, allowing another local process to monitor the resulting input events. Exploitation requires a process running locally during keyboard use, and the disclosed consequence is capture of typed data rather than modification or service interruption.
