Incorrect privilege assignment in OpenText ScanCentral DAST 21.1 through 23.1 allows remote attackers to gain elevated privileges via its API. OpenText has not published the affected API endpoint, permission check, or operation that assigns the elevated privileges. The API is reachable over the network without prior authentication, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized access at a higher privilege level.
