Administrator file upload without type validation
Published Nov 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in bPlugins Icons Font Loader 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write server files via the admin uploader. The plugin's upload function accepts administrator-supplied content without validating the uploaded file type; public sources do not name the function or request parameter. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and uploading a server-executable file can result in arbitrary code execution.
