Authenticated stored XSS via incomplete event filtering
Published Oct 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Dolibarr ERP & CRM before 16.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in other users' browsers. The htdocs/main.inc.php testSqlAndScriptInject filter failed to inspect a tag-stripped value for several event-handler names, allowing crafted stored input to bypass checks and render executable HTML or JavaScript. Exploitation requires a user with the privileges to submit persistent content and another user to view the affected page; impact is script execution in that viewer's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <16.0.5
