CVE-2023-5827Public exploit

Authenticated command execution via injectable ID parameter

Published Oct 27, 2023 · Updated Jun 12, 2025

SQL injection in CTI Monitoring and Early Warning System 2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the ID parameter. UserEdit.aspx incorporates the attacker-controlled ID query parameter into a database operation without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling time-delayed injection. The CNA assessment requires low privileges and adjacent-network reachability; the public proof of concept uses sqlmap to open an operating-system shell.
