Editor-authenticated SSRF via unvalidated image proxy URL
Published Oct 26, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
SSRF in FastLine Media LLC Assistant before 1.4.4 allows remote authenticated users with Editor access to make server-side requests. The fl_asst_image_proxy handler passes its url query parameter to wp_remote_get() without validating the destination. Editor access is required, and a crafted request can make the WordPress server contact loopback or other network resources reachable from the host.
