CVE-2023-5777Network attack vector

Crash-report server takeover via exposed private key

Published Nov 6, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in Weintek EasyBuilder Pro before 6.07.02 and affected 6.08 builds allow remote attackers to control its crash-report server. The crash-report transmission workflow exposes its private key publicly, and deleting the key after transmission does not undo that disclosure. Network access and no authentication or user action are required; possession of the exposed key enables privileged remote control of the report server.
