CVE-2023-5766

Cross-session code execution via crafted TCP packet

Published Nov 1, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024

Code execution in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager 2023.2.33 and earlier on Windows allows local users to run code via a crafted TCP packet. The application accepts the packet from another Windows user session on the same host, but Devolutions has not disclosed the receiving component or unsafe operation. A low-privileged local session is required, and successful exploitation crosses the session boundary with code execution in the target process context.
