Subscriber stored XSS via unsanitized parameters
Published Nov 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in WebToffee WordPress Backup & Migration through 1.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via unsanitized parameters. An unknown plugin parameter is insufficiently sanitized and escaped before page output, so injected JavaScript executes whenever a user views the affected page. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the impact is limited to actions or data available in the victim's browser session.
