Uncontrolled resource consumption in Mozilla Firefox, Firefox ESR, and Thunderbird allows remote attackers to crash the application. Mozilla attributes the failure to graphics drivers that do not robustly handle extremely large WebGL draw calls but has not published the affected function or precise missing validation. Exploitation requires content able to invoke WebGL; Thunderbird disables scripting while reading email, limiting ordinary message-based exposure.
