Credential weakening via percent-character password truncation

Password truncation in Red Lion Controls Crimson 3.2.0053.18 and earlier allows attackers to compromise devices through weaker credentials. The Windows configuration tool converts a percent character in an administrator-defined password into invalid values and can terminate the downloaded string at a NUL byte. Exposure requires an administrator to create the password through the desktop tool and miss the truncation; web-server-entered passwords are unaffected.
