Subscriber-level PHP configuration disclosure via unchecked AJAX
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in System Dashboard 2.8.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive PHP configuration data. The sd_php_info() AJAX handler produces phpinfo() output without checking an administrator capability, returning server and runtime details to the caller. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the documented impact is disclosure of PHP configuration information, not data modification or service interruption.
