Subscriber-level credential disclosure via unchecked AJAX action
Published Dec 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in qriouslad System Dashboard 2.8.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read defined constants. The authenticated AJAX action invokes sd_constants() without checking an administrative capability and returns WordPress, theme, and plugin constants. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and exposed constants can include database credentials; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
