Forced logout via tokenless logout route
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 11, 2024
CSRF in mosparo before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to terminate an authenticated user's session through a malicious website. The security_logout route accepts a direct request without validating a CSRF token, so a cross-origin request triggers logout. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to load attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated consequence is session termination.
