Remote named crash via DNS64 serve-stale interaction

Denial of service in affected ISC BIND 9 releases allows remote attackers to crash named by querying a DNS64 resolver for stale data. ISC has not published the specific resolver state transition or assertion locus responsible for the DNS64 and serve-stale interaction. The unauthenticated network path is reachable only when both DNS64 and serve-stale are enabled, and exploitation terminates the DNS server process.
