CVE-2023-5675Network attack vector

Unauthenticated authorization bypass via omitted endpoint security checks

Published Apr 25, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Improper authorization in affected Quarkus RESTEasy Classic and Reactive releases allows remote attackers to access protected JAX-RS endpoints. Build-time security processing omits inherited or annotation-processor-transformed endpoint methods from the default authorization-check registry. Exploitation requires either default-roles-allowed or deny-unannotated-endpoints and a matching endpoint, allowing unauthorized reads or writes exposed by that method.
