CVE-2023-5630Network attack vector

Malicious firmware installation via missing integrity check

Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Firmware integrity failure in Schneider Electric Trio E-, J-, and Q-Series data radios allows remote authenticated users to install untrusted firmware. The firmware-update path accepts and installs a supplied image without verifying its authenticity or integrity. High-privilege access to the network management interface is required; successful installation permits attacker-controlled device code and can interrupt radio service.
