Incorrect installation-directory ACLs in Tenable Network Monitor before 6.3.0 allow local users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. The installer leaves a non-standard installation directory writable or otherwise insufficiently restricted, allowing a low-privileged user to place executable content that a SYSTEM-context NNM process can run. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and a non-standard install location; the consequence is full code execution under SYSTEM on the Windows host.
