Authentication bypass via password-parameter SQL injection
Published Oct 15, 2023 · Updated Jun 16, 2025
SQL injection in login.php in SourceCodester Judging Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication. The login handler incorporates the untrusted password POST parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing quote and operator syntax, as shown by a public Boolean-condition payload. No account is required; crafted login requests can change query logic, while effects beyond authentication bypass have not been demonstrated.
